If you are having trouble accessing your Clinical Portal Profile, there are a few things you can try before submitting a ticket to the IHDE support team for help.
1) Check that you are using the right username.
We use a variety of usernames, for a bunch of websites, so it is understandable that you may forget your username. IHDE does not use emails as usernames, rather, we will use some combination of letters from your name.
2) Still not sure about your username?
If a colleague is able to get in to their profile, they can quickly look up your username using the Clinical Portal's messaging feature.
a. Use the navigation panel to the left of the Clinical Portal web page to find the "Messages" tab
b. Click "New Message" and in the window that opens, click the "To..." button at the top of the message.
c. In the following pop-up, search the name of the person whose username you are looking for.
3. I forgot my password.
The Clinical Portal has a "Forgot Password" link on the login page. It will only work if the email on your profile is correct and you have set up a secret question & answer for your profile.
a. To use the "Forgot Password" link, select the blue link on the login page under the username and password fields.
b. Enter your username in the "User ID" field on the following page.
c. Check your email. You will have to answer your security question and reset your password. If you do NOT receive an email, proceed to step 4.
4. Locked out message
